A Bartholin's cyst is a small fluid-filled sac just inside the opening of a woman's vagina. You may experience it as a lump in the vagina. If you suspect you have one, this can be diagnosed by an experienced gynecologist such as Dr. Gueye.

Treatments may include:

• Sitz baths. 

• Surgical drainage.

• Antibiotics.

• Marsupialization. If cysts recur or bother you, a marsupialization (mahr-soo-pee-ul-ih-ZAY-shun) procedure may help.
