LaVonne Edwards, PA-C, is a dedicated Physician Assistant with more than 20 years of experience working as a surgical tech/first assist in the operating room and has a special passion for women’s health. Throughout her surgical career, she gained experience in gynecology, orthopedics, and general surgery, with a significant portion of her experience devoted to gynecologic surgery. LaVonne earned her degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology from the University at Albany, SUNY, and later received her Physician Assistant degree from Touro University in New York. She believes that truly caring for patients begins with listening.

 

LaVonne values taking the time to understand each patient’s concerns, answer questions, and develop a trusting relationship. She believes that the connection between a patient and provider is an important part of delivering compassionate, personalized care. Outside of the office, LaVonne enjoys traveling the world and experiencing different countries and cultures. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her two-year-old grandson, who brings her tremendous joy. LaVonne is excited to bring her experience, compassion, and passion for women’s health to her patients and looks forward to getting to know each of them.
